HRCapt is a screenshot program supporting the new Clie's High Resolution (and color). It consists in a Desk Accessory to capture the screenshot, plus a side program to manage your screenshots on the Clie.

HR-Shot DA is another screenshot program supporting High Resolution. This is a Desk Accessory, like HRCapt; but it relies on VMB to manage your screenshots.

LInfo DA is a superb High Resolution Desk Accessory. It displays the date, time, battery load, free RAM and free MemoryStick space.

This Othello program is High Resolution-enabled, and it's fair level will keep beginner to medium-level players busy!

Memoru is a paint-type program in High Resolution and color. It is bundled with a converter program (MemoruCV for Windows computers) to transfer your artwork on the PC.

Unfortunately, the author page (at Geocities Japan) has disappeared, and I don't know where he's gone! :-(

SwitchDash gives you the ability to define a list of programs that won't use the High Resolution. All the other programs then will use the High Resolution (in compatibility mode for the old applications).

Thus, the incompatible applications (some old games or graphical programs, essentially), will remain in Low Resolution, avoiding you a Fatal Error dialog when you try to launch them in High Resoultion... but you'll get the new, finer fonts for the applications that are not listed in SwitchDash.

CRS-MeDoc is a doc-reader that support the High Resolution of the new Clie.

VMB is a picture display program that support High Resolution (in color, of course) and MemoryStick.

DeepReader is an eBooks reader supporting the Palm DOC format, and both the Jog Dial and high resolution of the new Clié.

The next version (1.1) should also support the MemoryStick.

2DMemo is an application that can simultaneously display (and edit separately) numerous memo, Post-it like: you can chose the color of both text and background separately for each memo, and select a normal or small font for all memo.

WordSmith is a true word processor, and will let you type and format text (almost) as on a desktop computer. It handles nicely the Clié high resolution, and will let you import TrueType fonts from your computer to the Clié.

The latest release from Kickoo is a high-resolution version of the well known Ababall program from Iambic Software. This is the same arcad game, an Arkanoid clone with fast action and now even better graphics!

Lubomir Veselovsky, active member of various Clié boards, has released to the public a few superb high resolution fonts for the Clié. You'll need FontHack123 (and of course X-Master or your favorite hack manager program) to display them. A master work, with (amongst other) a great PalmOS 5-like font on your Clié!!! :-)

Now OS5 users can use another version of these great fonts, too!

Iambic has released a nice and powerful spreadsheet, and the high resolution of the Clié is perfectly supported, including on the most recent NR70 and its 320x480 pixels display... Only you can decide whether you like this one better than QuickSheet!
As with other Iambic softwares, you have to request a demo code to be able to evaluate the product.

QuickChart is bundled with QuickSheet, and like wise TinyChart is also included with TinySheet, as any good spreadsheet needs its grapher. This one supports the Clié devices high resolution, too. You'll soon be mastering pie charts and other graphs!!!

For those who need a beefed-up datebook program, Action Name Datebook by Iambic is a nice alternative if you do not like Pimlico DateBk 5.0.
As with other Iambic softwares, you have to request a demo code to be able to evaluate the product.

Action Name DateBook competitor. As powerful, although with different features, but supports the Clié high resolution as well. Between these two programs, its entirely a matter of personal taste!

QuickWord

You want a real word processor? You've got one! And this one supports the Clié high resolution, and lets you import/export Word documents to read/modify on your PalmOS handheld.
Also supports FontBucket to get new fonts, and PrintBoy to print directly from the Clié.

YiShow Explorer

YiShow Explorer is both a program launcher, a file explorer, a doc reader and a pictures viewer. Of course it supports the Clié high resolution!

The Clié version supports OS4 Clié devices, and the Palm version supports OS5 Clié devices.
